Who is responsible
CodeNexus OÜ, registry code 16940722, Estonia, is responsible for the personal data used to handle enquiries made through this website. Contact us about your enquiry or privacy at contact@codenexus.eu.
What we collect and why
The form asks for your name, email address, project message, and optionally your company and service of interest. We use these details to understand and answer your request, discuss a possible project, and maintain relevant business correspondence. Fields marked with an asterisk are required to submit the form; without sufficient contact details we may be unable to reply. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive personal information.
We process project requests to take steps at your request before entering into a contract where Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. For other business enquiries, including communications with company representatives, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering requests and managing business communications under Article 6(1)(f). Our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure also supports necessary technical processing. We do not add you to a marketing list through this form.
Form delivery and spam prevention
When you submit, your browser sends your form details to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which processes the submission and forwards it to contact@codenexus.eu. You leave this website to complete FormSubmit’s verification and are returned to our thank-you page after a successful submission flow. Our mailbox uses Hostinger’s email service. Authorised CodeNexus personnel and the providers involved in processing, spam prevention, email delivery, and hosting may handle relevant data for those purposes.
FormSubmit uses Google reCAPTCHA to help distinguish people from automated spam. FormSubmit and Google may process technical data such as your IP address, browser or device information, and interactions with the verification service. Their services may use cookies or similar technologies. This website does not load reCAPTCHA before you submit to the external service.
You can contact us directly by email instead of using FormSubmit or its CAPTCHA. Email still involves the providers that deliver and host your message. We do not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means; automated spam controls may filter submissions.
Hosting, cookies, and international processing
The website is hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in Frankfurt, Germany. Serving and protecting it involves technical connection data such as IP addresses and request information. CodeNexus does not operate analytics or advertising trackers on this website, and its own scripts do not set cookies or browser-storage identifiers. Fonts and artwork are served with the website.
FormSubmit, Google, and email or hosting providers may process relevant data outside the European Economic Area. Their processing locations and applicable transfer arrangements depend on the service. Contact us for information about the recipients and safeguards relevant to your enquiry; the provider policies below also describe their practices.
How long information is kept
FormSubmit documents that it keeps submissions in its archive for 30 days. This does not set the retention period for copies delivered by email. We keep enquiry correspondence while needed to answer the request, manage any resulting business relationship, or meet relevant legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. The need is determined by whether the enquiry remains open, whether work or follow-up is ongoing, and whether a legal requirement or dispute applies. Relevant records may therefore be kept after an enquiry closes; otherwise they should be deleted when no longer needed. Provider logs and backup copies have their own retention arrangements.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, or restriction of processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies where its legal conditions are met. These rights are subject to the applicable GDPR conditions and exceptions. Email contact@codenexus.eu to make a request.
You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or the supervisory authority in the EEA country where you live or work.
